Gummy bear

Does anyone like visiting the dentist? I don't - I really dislike it. I saw the hygienist yesterday and she didn't do anything too scary. A bit of cold water, some polishing, and my bleeding gums. My gums are not in great shape. I have to water floss every night, which helps, but I don't take the flosser when I go away, so end up back at square one. I need a portable one (Amazon?)! And even though she didn't do anything horrible I still felt a bit weak at the knees. I came straight home and went into a hot bath! I did see the dentist for my checkup as well, and luckily my teeth are ok.

Yay it's Easter! This year I've decorated my Easter tree - see picture. Never really had decorations before but just had an urge this year. Do you think it's normal to have an Easter urge? I'm working Friday and Monday but that's fine. I'm making lamb dinner on Sunday. It's a lovely festivity, is Easter. The lighter nights, the warmer weather (kind of), and of course the chocolate! I've already eaten my egg. Though it's such a shame that the smarties or buttons are no longer inside the chocolate shell. It was the best bit about Easter eggs I think. I love hot cross buns (Asda have delicious lemon & white chocolate ones), creme eggs, hard boiled eggs and mini eggs! Who doesn't? In fact some people even like Simnel cake! I hope you all have a very enjoyable long weekend.

I'm reading such a good book. 'Lessons in Chemistry' by Bonnie Garmus. It's set in 1950-60s and is about a female scientist and all the bullshit she gets from men. It's funny and clever and I wholly recommend!

Talking of books we have finished the Hamish McBeth TV series and have started the Agatha Raisin series. It's quite a recent series unlike Hamish which was sooo old. It's pretty good and a nice thing to watch as a family. Though Ellie thinks we're completely crazy lol.

Well until next week. Take care x.

Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.
