Humble
As I've often said, I'm rubbish at giving Christmas cards! I just am. However, I saw Shirley Ballas on TV the other day as she described giving cards at Christmas as a thank you to those people being in her life all year. This made me think, and feel bad. If you've given me a card this year thank you kindly. I would just like to use this format to thank everyone who is reading this - thank you for being in my life this year, if only by reading my thoughts every week. I hope everyone has a lovely day on Sunday regardless of your personal circumstances. Merry Christmas!
I had a wobble this week, all because of Lisa Riley. Whoooo? Lisa Riley is Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale. I have no idea how I know this as I don't watch Emmerdale but there you go. Anyway, Lisa Riley was always rather chubby and then she lost weight. She did all the rounds on TV - Loose Women, This Morning etc because of this joyous dieting. But I caught a glimpse of her this week (in some singing TV show being shown over Christmas) and yes .. You know what I'm going to say... She's fat again! And all my demons returned to my head. Diet or not to diet? That is my dilemma. It was so bad that I couldn't sleep. Everything was just going round and round in my head, very distressing! Do I or don't I? That is the question. Ahhhh. And all because of a soap actress I don't even know! I am a cracker - and not a Christmas one.
IT'S CHRISTMAS! I hope you're all as excited as I am. I am a child. I will be looking out the window before I go to bed on Christmas Eve just in case I see his sleigh in the sky. Santa will be bringing me gifts. I am confident not because I've been a good girl this year (where's the fun in that?) But because I've already bought them! Lol
So Wednesday Libby decided she wasn't going to eat any kind of dog food! In order to encourage her to eat we are now on last resorts - rice, chicken, porridge, rice pudding. I'm going to buy her some liver today. She's doesn't have long to go now. Please don't think she's sitting in a sorrowful pile, she's not. She's enjoying her walks and playing with her toys, wagging her tail and happy. As soon as she's unhappy it will be time to let her go. As you can see from the picture she's excited for Christmas, wondering which gift is hers (none of those).
Well on that note. I wish you all a fabulous Christmas and I hope Santa is good to you.
Buy your kids some batteries this Christmas, with a note attached saying 'toys not included'.
