Socks

I got socks for Christmas. You might think that socks for Christmas is pretty normal. But I got 4 pairs from 4 different givers and none are the kind of socks that you wear with shoes or boots. These are all cosy/thick/woolly, wear in your leisure kind of socks. I just thought that was a funny coincidence. But my feet are loving them - they've never been so warm.

Talking of Christmas... On Christmas Day my son said he would drive as we were going to my in laws. I opened the passenger door but was planning on sitting in the back. I stood for ages fumbling for the release handle to lift the seat to climb in the back. My son and hubby just watched and laughed! I had completely forgotten that my new car had 5 doors! Oops lol.

I don't think it'll surprise anyone if I tell you I've put on rather a few pounds during December. I'm not sure what to do now. Do I plod on and try fighting this losing battle with my weight? Or do I give up with the farce and accept myself the size I am? I don't know, I really don't know. Pros and cons though top of my lift (for everyone's sake) is doing what makes me happy!

And now, back to the menopause. My up to this point spot on regular as clockwork cycle has given up. My period in December just didn't turn up! Though I feel like I now have permanent PMT. No idea what happens on going. I doubt it's gone for good, and dare say I might have a period out of the blue sometime. Hubby suggested I was pregnant! Then stated it wasn't his. Trust me, if I was pregnant it wouldn't be mine either! Ha ha ha. Anyway I shall keep you posted.

You can't can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. CS Lewis

I really need to take more photos. I only seem to have pictures of Libby and the cats! Lol x
