Cats cats cats
I'm always talking about Libby the Labrador so I decided to make it a cat week, for all my cat loving readers.
I got home yesterday and I could hear a clatter and banging upstairs. Ah I thought, one of the cats (thinking Bacardi) is stuck in a room. Which is a little unlikely as she can open doors. So up I went, checked all the usual spots - my wardrobe, the airing cupboard, the bathroom - but couldn't find her. But with a little help from Libby we located her inside the drawers of the spare bed. Obviously I took a picture (see above) before rescuing her lol! But I'm very perplexed. It's not like she got in an open drawer and someone has come in behind her and shut it. Not me nor hubby has touched that room today. She must have opened the drawer enough to get in, but not enough to get out. Which is a bit of a mystery. Unless Libby shut her in?! No, more likely Bumblebee.
As you know Bacardi is my grand-cat and is staying with us as my daughter is in a rented flat just now. She's an in-door cat (having always lived in the city) so we have a litter tray. My two cats, Mr B and Bumblebee get kicked out at night so a litter tray is never used normally. But recently I've sometimes let Bumblebee stay in at night (he's old and croaky and slow) thinking he'd use the litter tray (he knows exactly what it is and how to use it). But oh no, Bumblebee just pee's in the kitchen floor!! Not amusing! And on top of that Mr B has started to come in from outside in the morning, go upstairs to the bathroom and pee's in the shower!! Why? A. He should be going outside like he has for years or B. if he needs to go in the house use the bloody litter tray! Like Bumblebee he knows what it is and how to use it! What on earth is wrong with everyone?
Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
