Jobs are like buses

This is my Grand-kitten helping my hubby to work. Not sure she passed her probation.

So I started my new job yesterday, and not the one you know about. Last week I got an unexpected call asking me to an interview the following day. I went and I was offered a job. It's over 3 days working in the restaurant of a local garden centre. This means that I can still do the original job I was offered a few weeks ago. (Admin for a residential home). Two jobs? Who knew. Today went well but I came home a little bit pooped. Straight into a hot bath that has never felt so good! Was I the oldest of the front of house staff? Most definitely. But I'm not that old! And surely I can only get fitter and better. The other staff were really nice and that is half the battle. And I get half price food when I'm on shift (the cakes look amazing…notice I said look and not taste 😃). I might have been stood  on my feet all shift but I didn't do my steps! I have to say my legs weren't really interested in getting to that magic 10,000 today, after my busy working shift.

I have some disappointing news. I did not get to my stone loss this week. I'm gutted but pragmatic. I'd like to blame PMT and that's exactly what I'm doing! There are so many negatives to 'the time of the month' I feel grasping a positive is acceptable! This week it will definitely be hit. And then I shall concentrate on the next stone. Oh joys.

Libby the Labrador is still doing amazing. She's happy and bouncy and that's all I'm asking for just now.

Happy is always enough.
